AEROSMITH: Tyler Gets Expensive Car, Gives Priceless Moment

Aerosmith's Steven Tyler has just plunked down more than a million smackers on a custom built car, according to Edmunds Inside Line auto blog. The vehicle is a black Hennessey Venom GT Spyder that sports a twin-turbo 427 cubic-inch V8 engine, black interior with red stitching and, of course, a tricked out audio system.

Builder John Hennessey says the supercar is set to be ready in time for May 22nd and 23rd's American Idol finale, though it won't be part of the show. He calls Tyler "the nicest, coolest, most talented guy I have ever met in my life."

In other Tyler news, he took time out from Idol, Aerosmith and custom cars earlier this week to speak via Skype with Cole Grace, a Warwick, Rhode Island seven-year-old who'd just had his third brain cancer operation. The two sang "Walk This Way" together.
