BOSTON: More Accusations Fly in Delp Suit

The war of words between all the parties involved in libel lawsuit filed by Boston guitarist Tom Scholz against the Boston Herald about their story saying he played a part in Brad Delp's suicide has kicked up a few more notches.

In the wake of Sunday's Boston Globe story suggesting that Delp killed himself due to the embarrassment he felt after his roommate Meg Sullivan discovered a camera he'd hidden in her bedroom, Sullivan has publicly responded to the piece. Sullivan told the Boston Herald that the incident did not lead to Delp taking his own life.

Sullivan added "that quite apart from all the evidence that Brad was contemplating, and even actually planning, his suicide in the weeks before this incident, Mr. Scholz's conduct has resulted in a personal, private matter between Brad and me becoming public....If Mr. Scholz had ever truly been a friend of Brad's, and truly had respect for Brad's memory, this would not have occurred."
