BEATLES: Unseen Magical Mystery Tour Footage Posted Online
Never-before-seen footage from The Beatles' Magical Mystery Tour has been posted online by the BBC.
Never-before-seen footage from The Beatles' Magical Mystery Tour has been posted online by the BBC. Discovered during the making of a documentary, the film is now available on the BBC arts website The Space. It depicts The Beatles visiting a fish-and-chips takeout place in Taunton, Somerset. It shows a casual side of The Beatles, eating somewhere that commoners patronize, interacting with the customers -- and apparently having a jolly time -- before they get back on the bus that's the focus of Magical Mystery Tour.
The BBC will air Arena: The Making of Magical Mystery Tour this Saturday -- followed by the first TV screening of the just discovered film that's now online. But so far, the program is not scheduled to run here on BBC America.
