BLACK SABBATH: The Door Is Open

Tony Iommi and Ozzy Osbourne say the "door is open" if drummer Bill Ward wants to take part in the Black Sabbath reunion. Iommi tells NME, "We've tried everything with Bill at the moment, and it's just not happening," He adds that they haven't spoken to Ward and that everything is being handled by their lawyers. And Ozzy says, "As far as I know, his requests were very unreasonable. Nothing would have been better [than] if he would have been [willing to play with us]."

Iommi, Ozzy and Geezer Butler are working on their first studio album together in 33 years. This Sunday, they'll headline the Download Festival in England, and their last date of the year will be at Lollapalooza in Chicago in August. Tommy Clufetos from Ozzy's band is filling in on drums.
