ZZ TOP: New EP Coming |

ZZ Top plan to release a four-song iTunes EP featuring their new single "I Got to Get Paid" next month. "Paid" first debuted on YouTube this month as part of a commercial for whiskey maker Jeremiah Weed. Singer-guitarist Billy Gibbons admits that the trio has been behind the times in embracing digital media. He tells USA Today, "ZZ Top would be the last guess for the most Internet-savvy band. However, I think we're just in the initial stages of a very fast-moving platform. Sooner rather than later, any other form other than digital media will be a thing of the past. It won't vanish, but let's face it, this is seemingly the way of the future." |
