A never-before-released demo recording of David Bowie’s iconic “Let’s Dance” has been unearthed in celebration of what would be Bowie’s 71st birthday. Nile Rodgers, shared the track with a statement: “The time we spent mixing [the demo] just before Christmas was full of tears, as it felt like David was in the room with us. Happy Birthday, David, I love you and we all miss you!” Listening to the special new release does indeed seem to conjure the late Bowie—you can even hear him speaking off-the-cuff as the song winds down”…
