NO PURCHASE NECESSARY TO ENTER OR WIN. A PURCHASE WILL NOT INCREASE YOUR CHANCE OF WINNING.
1. PROMOTION DATES
(a) KSLX is conducting a contest called the “NHRA Arizona Nationals Winner’s Circle VIP Experience” (“Promotion”). This Promotion will be conducted starting February 4th, 2013 and will conclude on February 15th, 2013. The Grand Prize will be awarded on or about February 16th, 2013 via random drawing from all qualifying entries.
2. ELIGIBILITY RESTRICTIONS
No purchase is necessary to participate in this Promotion.
(a) To be eligible for this promotion, the participant must (i) be an Arizona resident, stationed at a military installation or be a valid full-time student registered at a campus, university or educational institution within the same area and a US citizen, (ii) must be at least 18-years of age or older (iii) have a valid social security number (iv) hold a valid driver’s license (v) meet and fulfill the other rules and requirements of this Promotion. Employees of KSLX, Sandusky Radio, Inc., any subsidiary of Sandusky Newspapers, NHRA, Big O Tire, any sponsor or their respective representatives, affiliates, subsidiaries, advertising and promotion agencies, wholesale distributors, individual retail licenses nor their immediate families and employees of the sweepstakes promotional partners are ineligible to participate in this Promotion. This Promotion is subject to all applicable federal, state, and local laws and regulations. Void outside the United States and where prohibited.
3. ENTRY
To participate in the Promotion, you may enter via the following method:
(a) VIA QR CODE SCAN – You may enter by visiting any Arizona Big O Tires location by scanning the QR Code on the in-store counter display. Entrants must provide all requested information, including: legal name as it appears on a corresponding legal form of ID, complete address, city, state, zip code, telephone number, and date of birth. One finalist per household.
(b) VIA WEB – You may enter the contest by visiting the contest page on KSLX.com. Entrants must provide all requested information, including: legal name as it appears on a corresponding legal form of ID, complete address, city, state, zip code, telephone number, and date of birth. One finalist per household.
4. PRIZES
(a) Grand Prize Package includes:
- Two (2) reserved tickets for the NHRA Nationals on Sunday, February 24th, 2013
- One (1) guest parking pass good for Sunday, February 24th, 2013
- The winner will get to choose (1) one event champion to get their picture taken with.
Approximate Total Prize Value - $500.00
(b) Grand Prize Winner and their guest must be 18 years of age or older.
(c) The Grand Prize Winner may not substitute cash or another prize for the prizes won. However, KSLX and the Sponsor(s) reserve the right to substitute for any prize, cash or prizes with an equal or greater retail value than the prize detailed.
5. WINNER SELECTION AND NOTIFICATION
(a) Decisions of Promoter management with respect to the Promotion are final.
(b) On or about February 16th, 2013 one grand prize winner will be drawn at random from qualifying entries.
(c) Grand Prize winner will be notified by phone.
(d) If a message is left to notify Grand Prize winner that they have won, Grand Prize winner has 24 hours to call the KSLX Promotion Director back. If Grand Prize winner does not call the KSLX Promotion Director back within 24 hours of notification, Grand Prize winner forfeits prize.
(e) Contestants will be included in the Grand Prize Drawings if they meet all of the eligibility requirements.
(f) By accepting the grand prize, the Grand Prize Winner agrees to release and hold KSLX, Sandusky Radio, Inc., any subsidiary of Sandusky Newspapers, the sponsors and their respective officers, directors employees, agents, or assignees harmless from any and all losses, damages, rights, claims and actions of any kind resulting from acceptance, possession or use of any prize, including without limitation, personal injuries, death and property damage. By participation in this Promotion, participant agrees to be bound by these Official Contest Rules.
(g) Odds of winning depend on the number of eligible entries received. Grand Prize Finalists will be required to complete, sign and return an affidavit of eligibility, liability, and publicity release. In the event of noncompliance with the forgoing, the finalist will be disqualified from participating in the Promotion. Any prize notification or prize returned to the sponsor or its agencies as undeliverable will result in disqualification and the awarding of that prize to an alternate winner.
(h) Unless otherwise specified in the prize notification, all prizes or prize certificates may be picked up at the office of the Promoter at the address below. The winner will forfeit any prize or prize certificate not claimed within ten (10) business days of winning.
6. CONDITIONS
(a) KSLX RESERVES THE RIGHT TO CHANGE THE CONTEST AND RULES AT ANY TIME. Such change will be accompanied by on-air announcements explaining the changes and reflected in an updated version of the rules at that time.
(b) By participating in the KSLX “NHRA Arizona Nationals Winner’s Circle VIP Experience”, the participant grants KSLX (i)permission to use, in whole or in part, his or her conversation with the KSLX announcer, either live or recorded, on-air and in promotional spots; (ii) the right to use the participants name, voice and likeness for advertising and promotional purposes without further compensation and (iii) the permission to use photos, likenesses, audio or other media material on the website,www.kslx.com.
(c) Grand Prize Winner is responsible for all local, state and federal taxes incurred as a result of winning this Promotion. Title, License, Registration, Insurance, and all other costs associated with receiving, transporting and claiming these prizes are the responsibility of the winner. Grand Prize winner is responsible for all other costs related to taking the trip that are not covered in the Grand Prize Package including but not limited to: travel insurance, rental car, any tax payments based on prize value, gratuities.
(d) An IRS Form 1099 MISC will be completed and filed with the IRS by KSLX for the value of the prize awarded.
(e) KSLX reserves the right to revoke the prize if the winner does not meet any or all of the eligibility requirements even though it was announced over the air that such individual was the winner.
(f) Sponsor and its agents are not responsible for (1) any incorrect or inaccurate information, whether caused by entrants, printing errors or by any of the equipment or programming associated with or utilized in the contest; (2) technical failures of any kind, including, but not limited to malfunctions, interruptions, or disconnections in phone lines or network hardware or software; (3) unauthorized human intervention in any part of the entry process or the Promotion; (4) technical or human error which may occur in the administration of the Promotion or the processing of entries; or (5) any injury or damage to persons or property which may be caused, directly or indirectly, in whole or in part, from entrant's participation in the Promotion or receipt or use or misuse of any prize. If for any reason an entry is confirmed to have been erroneously deleted, lost, or otherwise destroyed or corrupted, entrant's sole remedy is another entry in the Promotion, provided that if it is not possible to award another entry due to discontinuance of the Promotion, or any part of it, for any reason, Sponsor, at its discretion, may elect to hold a random drawing from among all eligible entries received up to the date of discontinuance for any or all of the prizes offered herein. If, for any reason, the Promotion is not capable of running as planned, including infection by computer virus or bugs, tampering, unauthorized intervention, fraud, technical failures, or any other causes beyond the control of Sponsor, which corrupt or affect the operation, administration, security, fairness, integrity, or proper conduct of this Promotion, Sponsor may, in its sole discretion, void any suspect entries and (a) cancel or terminate the Promotion (or any portion thereof); (b) modify the Promotion or suspend the Promotion to address the impairment and then resume the Promotion in a manner that best conforms to the spirit of these Official Rules; or (c) award the prize at random from among the eligible, non-suspect entries received up to the time of the impairment.
WARNING: ANY ATTEMPT BY AN ENTRANT OR ANY OTHER INDIVIDUAL TO DELIBERATELY DAMAGE ANY WEB SITE ASSOCIATED WITH THIS PROMOTION OR TO UNDERMINE THE LEGITIMATE OPERATION OF THE PROMOTION MAY BE A VIOLATION OF CRIMINAL AND CIVIL LAW, AND, SHOULD SUCH AN ATTEMPT BE MADE, SPONSOR RESERVES THE RIGHT TO PROSECUTE AND SEEK DAMAGES FROM ANY SUCH PERSON TO THE FULLEST EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW.
(g) Neither KSLX, Sandusky Radio, Inc., any subsidiary of Sandusky Newspapers, the sponsors nor their respective officers, sponsor employees, agents, or assignees are responsible for any risk, cost, or problem with calling and participating in an on-air promotion, attending a KSLX appearance at a sponsor location, or obtaining, completing, or delivering the official entry form (including, without limitations, illegible, lost, late, damaged, incomplete postage due, or misdirected entries). All entry forms submitted become the property of KSLX and none will be returned. Further, by participating in the KSLX “NHRA Arizona Nationals Winner’s Circle VIP Experience”, participants waive any and all claims of liability against KSLX, Sandusky Radio, Inc., any subsidiary of Sandusky Newspapers, the sponsors and their respective officers, sponsor employees, and agents and assignees for any accident, loss or injury arising in connection with or resulting from this Promotion, and each contestant assumes any and all risks, costs and problems associated with this Promotion.
(h) 100.7 KSLX is not responsible for any cancellation or rescheduling of a performance for any reason and has no obligation to reimburse, refund or otherwise substitute the tickets for another prize should the performance not be rescheduled or vouchers not issued.
7. TERMS OF USE AGREEMENT & PRIVACY POLICY
(a) KSLX’s interpretation of theses Official Contest Rules shall be final.
(b) By entering this Promotion, you agree to use of your personal information as described in the Privacy Policy located at: “www.kslx.com”
(c) A copy of these rules will be kept on file at KSLX, and is available for inspection during normal business hours. You may obtain a copy of these rules by mailing a self-addressed, stamped envelope to:
