Ladies & Gentlemen, it's official: Hollywood-types are no better than the rest of us. It's sometimes comforting to see that a fat bank account & jet-setting lifestyle still aren't enough to temper the eventual fade of a once-blossoming love. Some of these break-ups are no surprise but you have to wonder sometimes if the Hollywood set feels all the vows of marriage are just great dialogue at the time & that they really 'nailed' their wedding like they're filming a scene. Even though the institution of marriage has been taking a lot of flack in the past 20 years, I think to the under-40 crowd it's become like buying a car or a jet-ski; a bit of commitment but you can always take it back if you don't like it. It's not like you're stuck with it FOREVER. I would postulate that there is nothing sexier than commitment. You've got to work at it to keep it interesting & keep your partner enthused. Showing you have perseverence & the desire to fully finish what you start is a far better quality than someone who is as fickle as Veruca Salt (the character, not the crappy chick band) who's lookin' for the next Flavor Of The Month.
