CAPITAL ONE DOESN'T WANT TO DIS GIBSON GUITARS

Here's something I noticed the other day.  That is a very nice Gibson acoustic guitar with which Jimmy Fallon is attempting to serenade the Capital One Baby.  Gibson logo visible.  But notice somthing intersting that happens.  Only when the guitar is shown as smashed, the Gibson logo is covered with a piece of black tape.  So what prompted this?  Did Gibson not want to have their name associated with smashed instruments?  Were they attempting to discourage people from smashing Gibson guitars?  Did Gibson simply not want their logo represented on what amounts to a piece of trash for association's sake?  Perhaps we'll never know.  What do you guys think?  Ever since I was a kid I've always hated seeing bands smash their gear.  There are hungry musicians the world over who would kill for the fine quality instruments that meet that stage-fate.
