MY ECLIPSE PICS!

So yesterday I decided with nothing else goin' on that I'd climb the foothills behind my house & bring all the cameras/binoculars I had in order to enjoy yesterday's eclipse.  Above are two shots taken with a set of Bushnell binoculars with a digital camera built in.  Below are croppings from those two pictures.  They were taken at approximately 6:45PM around 15 minutes after the fullest point of the eclipse.  Unfortunately, I had other pictures with more of the sun blocked but after attempting too many in a row, the digital camera's sensors were overloading & erasing the storage disc & I lost the intial set of shots.  At least I was able to grab these with no apparent loss of vision!  Yes, they tell you never to point ANY optical device at the sun.  I did but I was shutting my eyes which is why the first two pictures are far from centered!  A truly magnificant eclipse, though & worth the climb up the hill for these pictures.  Interesting to note that because it was so bright, it looks as if the moon has the sun passing in front of it when actually it is the opposite.  The dark portion is actually the sun, yet the bright portion is actually the moon.
