They're arguably two of the greatest actors of their generation, and they're certainly cult heroes.
So film fans may be excited to see these new snaps of Christopher Walken and Al Pacino on the set of their new movie in Los Angeles.
The legendary duo have come together to play ageing criminals on one last nefarious bender, with the tasty twist that one has been hired to kill the other.
They are joined on the project by another long-standing, if less well known, Hollywood actor, Alan Arkin, who is 78 years old.
According to THR, the movie - originally called Old Timers - follows the two friends after they decide to relive their shady and exhilarating past before the hit takes place.
So we'll get to see them hitting up a brothel, stealing some cars and various assorted hi-jinx.
The Oscar-winner director of The Cove, Fisher Stevens, is directing.
Internet buzz regarding the film is mixed as while many fans are salivating about the prospect of seeing them together on screen, others point out that they haven't been at their best for years.
However, the optimists in the web community suggest that pitching them against one another might summon great things from the two men again.
Pacino fans will be hoping he doesn't degrade the legacy of films in his canon of work by taking on this crime comedy, his portrayal of mob boss Michael Corleone in The Godfather trilogy in particular. But his Razzie-winning Worst Supporting Actor role in Jack and Jill probably did that.
Walken has less to lose after parodying himself with abandon in the years since his seminal turn as Vietnam vet in The Deer Hunter.
But no matter what the critics think, this is sure to be a winner at the box office.
