TODAY'S 4:20 FAIL

BRITAIN’S unluckiest punter missed out on a whopping £63.8million EuroMillions jackpot last night as time ran out to claim their prize.

The sum is the biggest unclaimed lottery win in UK history and will now be given to charity.

A mystery ticketholder matched the winning numbers for a EuroMillions draw in June.

Lottery chiefs revealed the ticket was bought in the Stevenage and Hitchin area of Hertfordshire. They then launched a huge ad campaign to find the winner.

But the punter missed last night’s 11pm deadline — and Britain’s sixth largest lottery win.

The cash will now be handed to the National Lottery Good Causes Committee.

But Stevenage mayor John Lloyd said Camelot should give the funds to local groups.

He said: “We could do some amazing things.”
