LEXINGTON — Police say a man involved in the theft of several items from a Castle jewelry store in Pikeville was caught after trying to sell some of the items to a Castle store in Lexington.
Castle regional manager Matt Wills told WYMT (http://bit.ly/U9r7nU) that Seth Scott came in Friday night trying to sell "distinctive gold chains," and employees called police.
When officers arrived, they said, they found almost $20,000 worth of merchandise in Scott's vehicle. Police said he is facing several charges, including receiving stolen property and possession of burglary tools.
Wills said Scott's judgment didn't seem to be "working properly."
Scott declined a request from the TV station for an interview.
