Hey there KSLX Rockers!  I'm curious... and I'd like to take the time to find out what records have impacted you on your journey through life....what records stand out for a significant reason and how would you be different if you hadn't been exposed to their work........?

Identify 10 records that have impacted or changed you or your life in some way.... for me I'll start with Led Zeppelin, In Through the Outdoor, Fleetwood Mac, Rumours,... and I'll add more as I hear from you.... KSLX listeners take the challenge ....recall records that you'll never forget....expound.... =)

bobby.holmes.756 - Elvis Presley's Greatest Hits Volume One,+Aloha Live ...Van Halen Fair Warning,Diver Down,+ 1984.......Yes Close to the Edge,Yessongs....Pink Floyd + Rush too....phew!

pablolotto - Magic Power from Triumph was recently released when I signed up for the Navy. Due to a medical disqualification I never actually went in and was a bit relieved. "I'm young, I'm wild, and I'm free" still meant something to me. High 'N Dry from Def Leppard (and a high school friend) turned me on to hard rock and away from southern rock. I, to this day, much prefer hard rock to southern rock.

Tim - There's been so many albums.....BTO-four wheel drive, the first heavy guitar band I heard and I loved it. Black Sabbath-we sold our soul for rock and roll. Alice Cooper-from the inside, my first and still favorite AC album. Blue Oyster Cult-fire of unknown origin, still one of my all time favorite albums.Triumph-thunder seven. Y&T-meanstreak, high school party music. Motley Crue-shout at the devil. Rush-subdivisions. Foreigner-head games. Reo Speedwagon- hi infedelity. That doesn't even really scratch the surface but those stick out for me...

Slackerbator - The first two on the list would be Moving Pictures - Rush (vinyl) and Kind of Blue - Miles Davis (not 'til the CD age unfortunately.) :(

I'll think about and post the other 8...

LizardKing22 - Hey Randi it's Sam! I am finally 13 so I can register! I have both Rumours and In Through The Out Door, and they're both pretty awesome records. But a few records my parents have had for a long time that I really love to listen to are Cheap Thrills by Big Brother And The Holding Company (Janis Joplin's band), and the Cars debut album. I have bought a lot of records myself including Pearl - Janis Joplin, Candy-O - The Cars, Bookends - Simon And Garfunkel, There Goes Rhymin' Simon - Paul Simon, Fragile - Yes, Can't Buy A Thrill - Steely Dan, Frampton Comes Alive - Peter Frampton, L.A. Woman - Doors, Boston's debut, and a few others.
