On this day in LED ZEPPELIN...

On this day in 1987, JOHN PAUL JONES joined U.K. rock group The Mission in an Oxford studio to produce the band's third full-length release. By that time, The Mission had already topped the U.K. indie charts with two singles, including the biggest selling independent single of 1986. The Mission received several honors in the January 1987 Sounds readers' poll, being named Best British Band, Best Live Act and Best New Band.

LizardKing22 - It's sad that Zep only released 9 albums. I bet they would have produced a lot more and the original lineup would still be surviving today, and if John Bonham didn't die so early. What if Jason Bonham joined the band and they got back together? :D
