The house in Palo Alto, California where the Grateful Dead chose their name back on November 12th, 1965 is up for sale. If you want a piece of Dead history, it will cost you $2.4 million.

Bob Weir guests on “The Well,” a song on the legendary all-female San Francisco band Ace of Cups’ self-titled debut, out on November 9th. An animated video for the track is on YouTube.

Kinks guitarist Dave Davies has posted an unreleased track from 1978 on YouTube. “Same Old Blues” will be on Decade, his album of previously unheard solo recordings from the 1970s that comes out on October 12th.

Yoko Ono has posted a lyric video for “Children Power.” It’s a track from Warzone, a collection of 13 remakes from her catalog that will be out October 19th.

Chuck Berry will be honored on September 30th during the Roots ‘n’ Blues ‘n’ BBQ festival in Columbia, Missouri. The gala will kick off a new tradition in honoring a musical native of the Show Me State.

Loverboy guitarist Paul Dean has released the single and video “Hell, Yeah.” He calls it a salute to Canada and its rock and rollers.
