DEVO: Late Guitarist’s Family Needs Help
When Devo guitarist Bob Casale died last month of a heart attack, he did so without life insurance or a will. As a result, the band is taking up a collection to try and raise $100,000 for his wife and children.
Michael Pilmer, the webmaster for the Devo website, says, “This has hit the Casales hard. Expenses are not limited to funeral expenses, but include medical and hospital bills, and for general expenses in the absence of Bob. We’re doing everything we can to soften the impact of his death.”
Devo may also go on a 40th anniversary tour, and if they do, some of the profits will go the fund, which is closing in on $20,000. To make a donation, log onto GoFundMe.com.
