Carlos Santana‘s new album, Corazon, his first-ever all-Latin music effort, has been certified Latin double-platinum after shipping 120,000 copies. It has sold only 68,000 copies, but that made it the top-selling Latin music album in the U.S. for six consecutive weeks. It has also been number-one on the iTunes album chart in 24 countries, number-two in 10 countries and Top 10 in 59 others.

Corazon features appearances by an all-star cast of Spanish artists, including Lila Downs, Gloria Estefan, Juanes, Miguel and Romeo Santos.

Latin music albums, where more than 50-percent of the content is in Spanish, are certified platinum at 60,000 units sold. All other genres are certified platinum at one-million in sales.
