If you’re going to sport an unconventional hairstyle, you have to be prepared to take a little flack for your bold fashion statement. And in the age of the internet & everyone having a camera on their phone, prepare for worldwide fallout. But unfortunately, it seems that Ali Mosslmani, a.k.a. “Ziggy” to his friends, has paper-thin skin. A photographer from Sydney’s Daily Telegraph snapped him at a party in Sydney, Australia. The photo was published along with variations of the shot, photoshopping a skunk on his head, among other versions. Since then it’s been the crappy haircut heard ’round the world, having appeared in Britain’s Daily Mail on the Australian Broadcasting Company’s website & numerous other outlets. Instead of chuckling at his new-found fame, Ziggy decided to sue a number of these media outlets for defamation claiming the attention was intended to imply that he is “hideously ugly” when, in fact, not ONE of the articles described him as ugly. Way to be over-sensitive, Wendy O. Williams. Fortunately, his suit has little to no merit according to a district court judge’s preliminary verdict. The case goes to trial later. If you ask me, this kid should spend less time worrying about what people around the world think about his hairstyle & more time trying to roll up on the hottie he’s pictured with in the original article who’s actually not pushing him away. Click it & you’ll see what I mean. Priorities, Skunkhead! By the way, it’s a REALLY stupid haircut.
