In a world full of off-color & distasteful ideas, screening Ghostbusters in a cemetery has to go down as definitely in the top 100. The Restlawn Memorial Park in Wausau, Wisconsin decided in order to reiterate that a cemetery is a “vital” part of any community, they offered this type of activity that would take place in a portion of the graveyard where no one is buried yet. There was a little blowback. I’m surprised they didn’t just run hardcore with the theme & show one of George Romero’s films like “Night of The Living Dead” or “Dawn of the Dead”. That’s like showing “Rodentz” at a Chuck E. Cheese.
