Rush fans will have a whole lot of concert footage to watch starting today (Tuesday).

R40 documents four decades of the band in a 10-DVD or six-Blu-ray set that compiles all of the group’s concert releases since 2003. The box includes a bonus disc of unreleased footage spanning from 1974 to 2013. That includes eight songs from a 1974 show at Laura Secord Secondary School with original drummer John Rutsey; five songs from the Capitol Theatre in Passaic, New Jersey in 1976; a full, seven-part version of “2112” filmed in 1997 in their hometown of Toronto; and footage from the trio’s induction into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame.

Singer-bassist Geddy Lee says 40 years is “a significant anniversary, and we needed to celebrate it in some way. We’re proud of the fact that 40 plus years in and we’re still a real band and we’re still talking about things we want to do [in the future].”
