Brian Epstein became The Beatles manager two years before they arrived in America. He promised he’d land them a contract with a major record label — and in June 1962, they were signed by EMI, Capitol’s British sister company. After becoming Britain’s biggest-ever rock phenomenon, he then brought them to America. During their 1964 summer tour, Brian spoke with American radio reporter and future Beatles historian Larry Kane.
