Journey want their fans to know they’re definitely not on the road this fall.

The band’s Facebook page posted an image of an ad saying the band is hitting the road October 2nd and would be playing dates all the way through December. The ad also lists a toll free number to call for tickets. But the picture caption says, “Someone is selling tickets that are phony and a rip off. WE ARE DONE WITH OUR TOUR… THIS IS NOT REAL.”

What the ticket brokers who placed the ad perhaps don’t realize is that show is actually the Journeys Noise Tour, a metal package tour sponsored by the clothing manufacturer that features headliners Issues and openers I Killed the Prom Queen, Ghosttown, Marmozets and Nightmares. It looks like neither the band nor the promoters of the tour are going to be happy with this mix-up.
