His longtime bass player, Dennis Dunaway, has just published the memoir Snakes! Guillotines! Electric Chairs! My Adventures in the Alice Cooper Group –– and he told us about the first time the high school classmates tried the creep-show act on stage. They were actually doing a spoof of The Beatles as “The Earwigs from Cesspool, England.”
