CHEAP TRICK: Back in the Studio
Cheap Trick are back in the studio working on their 19th album. Singer Robin Zander says, “We’ve been recording some songs and getting together with various producers. We’ve got a feeling that this next record needs to be really special in order for anyone to pay attention to it, so we’re going to do some really extra-special things. And I’m not going to tell you any more here because then they wouldn’t be that special! It’s going to be very interesting.” This will be the band’s first album since 2009’s The Latest.
Zander is on the road doing acoustic shows with his sons, as well as playing with his band. He had band shows Friday in Clearwater, Florida and Saturday in Fort Myers, Florida.
