DAVE MASON: Not Exactly Feelin’ Alright
He was forced to cut out his signature song, “Feelin’ Alright,” aboard last month’s Rock Legends Cruise 3 thanks to a former Skynyrd drummer.
When Dave Mason and his Feelin’ Alright Band did his final show aboard last month’s Rock Legends Cruise 3, they had to cut it short thanks to the previous show by former Lynyrd Skynyrd drummer Artimus Pyle.
Mason commented on it during his show, making a crack about Pyle doing a “40-minute” version of “Freebird.” As a result, he had no time for an encore, which would have included his most famous song, “Feelin’ Alright.”
Mason is on tour this week with shows in Sioux City, Iowa on Friday; Salina, Kansas on Saturday; and Milwaukee on Sunday.
