Rod Stewart‘s balls have gotten him into trouble — his soccer balls that is.

A fan filed a lawsuit against Stewart Monday in Clark County court in Nevada claiming that he was injured by the singer during an October 2012 Las Vegas show.

The fan, Mostafa Kashe, says he was at Stewart’s show at Ceasars Palace when the singer “intentionally kicked multiple soccer balls into the crowd.” One of those balls “unexpectedly hit” the face of Kashe and he “sustained injuries to his face that required and continue to require medical attention.”

Kashe claims his nasal cavity was fractured and he sustained medical and cosmetic injuries. He’s seeking in “excess of $10,00” in damages along with attorney’s fees and lost wages.

Rod’s camp has yet to respond with a statement, but some are suggesting maybe he should use Nerf balls in the future.
