Way back, in a place far away (Lansing, Michigan!)  baby Karen was just starting her radio career when REO Speedwagon  came through town on the High Infidelity tour.   On that tour, the band raised money for local high schools  by playing a round of basketball against the rock station dj’s.   Special shirts were made and yes, my number was 1/2!    Kevin Cronin thought it would be fun to pick me up and carry me to their basket…and  if memory serves, the band handed us our A%*!!
