AC/DC: Cause Hits Home
Brian Johnson lends his support to a dementia charity in England.
Following last month’s announcement that AC/DC founder and rhythm guitarist Malcolm Young has dementia, singer Brian Johnson has lent his support to the Sporting Memories Network, a U.K. charity for people suffering from the disease.
Tony Jameson-Allen, the organization’s director, says, “It’s an absolutely amazing boost for a charity run by two people to receive a phone call from the singer of a group that has sold more than 200 million records worldwide.”
Malcolm, 61, is now living in a nursing home in Sydney, Australia.
