CHEAP TRICK: ‘The Flame’ Flickers in Pennsy
A fire broke out Friday night at the American Music Theatre in Lancaster, Pennsylvania just after Cheap Trick finished performing.
It started in one of the venue’s subwoofers and was put out by theater employees before the fire department arrived. A post on the band’s website says, “No guitars, drums, gear, band or crew were were affected.”
In 2011, Cheap Trick was four songs into their set at the Ottawa Bluesfest when a storm toppled the stage. They escaped unharmed, but much of their equipment sustained damage.
