Doris Day’s Song.

 EDDIE MONEY: Que Sera, Sera

With Led Zeppelin in the news over possibly stealing a lick from Spirit’s “Taurus” for use in “Stairway to Heaven,” Eddie Money was asked if he was ever accused of plagiarizing someone else’s song. He says a lawyer for Doris Day approached him, claiming “Baby Hold On,” off his 1978 debut album, was a take on her signature song, “Whatever Will Be, Will Be (Que Sera, Sera).” Money sings, “Que Sera, Sera, whatever will be, will be, the future is ours to see, baby hold on to me.”

Money resumes his tour June 6th in Council Bluffs, Iowa.
