AC/DC: Dipping Into the Past for Rudd’s Replacement?
Rumors that Chris Slade will be playing with the band Sunday at the Grammys have picked up steam.
Could AC/DC be looking to their past to replace their current drummer?
Rumors that Chris Slade will be playing with the band Sunday at the Grammys have picked up steam over the past two days. Slade was with the band from 1989 to 1994, when he was replaced by Phil Rudd. Rudd, of course, can’t make the Grammys because of his legal issues in New Zealand.
The Slade rumor kicked into high gear when a January 31st meet-and-greet at the optometry practice of Dr. Alex Corbin Liu in Rowland Heights, California had to be postponed. Dr. Liu posted on Facebook, “There’s actually big news regarding Slade and his career coming in next several days, which is why he had to reschedule this event.”
