Angus Young says whenever he sees his older brother Malcolm, Mal is happy. The 61-year old founder, rhythm guitarist and co-songwriter of AC/DC was diagnosed with dementia following the band’s 2008-2010 Black Ice tour.

“His family is all around him,” says Angus, who adds that he is “getting the best of care.” Malcolm reportedly is living in a nursing facility in Sydney, Australia. Angus will be seeing a lot of him soon as he’s heading to Australia for the next four months.

Malcolm has been replaced in AC/DC by his nephew, Stevie Young, who plays on the band’s new album, Rock or Bust. It comes out on December 2nd.
