After Def Leppard finished their set opening for KISS Saturday night in Holmdel, New Jersey, singer Joe Elliott delivered KISS’s traditional introduction: “You wanted the best, you got the best. The hottest band in the world… KISS!!!”

Former KISS guitarist Ace Frehley has spoken out about the negative comments about him made by Gene Simmons and Paul Stanley. He says, “All they’re trying to do is discredit me so [that] it validates the new [KISS] lineup. They’ll look foolish when my new album comes out. I think they’re just cranky that every time they go on the Internet they have to read fans saying, ‘Get Ace back.'”

Boston has been joined nightly on its summer tour by American Idol season nine finalist Siobhan [pr: she-VON] Magnus, who sings “Walk On.” The tour, with Cheap Trick, plays The Forum in Los Angeles Tuesday.

Nikki Sixx is selling his Calabasas, California home. He bought it in 2011 for $1.9-million, and put it on the market for $2.4 million. He and new wife Courtney Bingham are moving into a new $4.1-million home in Westlake Village, California. The new place has 10,300 square feet of living space and sits on 1.2-acres.
