Billy Joel will be one of the celebrities featured in American Masters: The Boomer List, which will debut on PBS on September 23rd.

Phil Collins will perform at the Little Dreams Foundation charity concert on December 6th in Miami Beach. Organized by his third ex-wife, Orianne Collins-Mejjati, the Foundation aims to “fulfill the dreams of these young talents, whether disabled or not, within music, sport and art.”

Tom Petty and The Heartbreakers have added a second show in Los Angeles to their Hypnotic Eye tour — October 11th at The Forum, which is now the last date. The tour is in Eugene, Oregon tonight (Thursday), followed by San Francisco on Saturday.

Jake Hooker, the guitarist in the British band The Arrows and the co-writer of “I Love Rock ‘n’ Roll” — a hit for Joan Jett and The Blackhearts — died Monday in Malibu, California at the age of 61.
