On Sunday, the morning after playing with the Foo Fighters in L.A., Paul Stanley tweeted, “After scorchin’ with Dave [Grohl] and Foo Fighters at The Forum, I woke up today with ROCK n’ ROLL PNEUMONIA! Actually… The flu.”

Tim Drummond, who played bass with Bob Dylan, Neil Young, CSN, CSNY, James Brown, Jimmy Buffett, Don Henley, Conway Twitty and many others, died on Sunday at the age of 74.

Journey will release a live album, The Frontiers Tour, on February 10th. It was recorded on July 21st, 1983 at the Lloyd Noble Center in Norman, Oklahoma.

Bill Thompson, manager of Jefferson Airplane, as well as one-time manager of the Jefferson Starship, Hot Tuna and Neal Schon, died Monday morning of a heart attack. He was 72. Thompson is the second prominent San Francisco band manager to die in the past month following the passing of former Grateful Dead manager Rock Scully in December.
