Kinks‘ guitarist Dave Davies is working on a live album from his most recent tour.
Gene Simmons was recently honored in Washington, D.C. at the annual Order of the Carabao. He says, “It’s humbling to sit next to war heroes, generals and the head of the CIA. Proud to be inducted into the Order of the Carabao, made up of all branches of our military elite.” The Order of the Carabao is a social club consisting of members of the U.S. military — who Simmons has supported by raising substantial amounts of money for the Wounded Warriors Project.
Even KISS singer/guitarist Paul Stanley is weighing in on Sunday night’s Grammy stage bum-rush by Kanye West after Beck won Album of the Year honors over Beyonce. Stanley posted on Facebook, ” Beck should’ve kicked Kanye right in the nuts [Sunday] night and said, “Get the [hell] off MY stage!”
