Jethro Tull will release a 40th anniversary edition of their 1975 album, Minstrel in the Gallery, on May 5th. It will be available in numerous configurations with previously unreleased material.

Peter Frampton and Cheap Trick have added 16 dates to their summer tour, with more to come. It starts on June 5th in Temecula, California and runs through August 25th in Livermore, California.

Dave Davies has added his voice to the list of viewers who did not think it was very funny for Kanye West to run onstage as Beck accepted his trophy for Album of the Year at the Grammy Awards on Sunday. Daveis says, “Beck is a very innovative artist. Let him have his award. I’ve never heard of anyone doing such a rude thing to a fellow artist.”

John Fogerty‘s opening act at his July 15th show at the Hollywood Bowl in Los Angeles will be his sons Tyler and Shane‘s band, Hearty Har. Shane also plays in his dad’s band.

Joining Neil Young at Stephen Stills‘ third annual Autism Benefit on April 25th at the Pantages Theater in Hollywood, California will be Steve Earle and Shawn ColvinJack Black will be master of ceremonies.

Lynyrd Skynyrd will tour Europe this spring for the first time in two years. The outing starts April 21st in Glasgow, Scotland and runs through May 5th in Helsinki, Finland.
