John Fogerty will do a coast-to-coast tour of Canada in November.

Queen are hinting that they’ll tour Australia with Adam Lambert. If so, it will be their first time there since April 1985.

Keith Emerson has paid tribute on his website to artist H.R. Giger, who designed the Brain Salad Surgery album cover for ELP as well as the band’s logo for that album, which they’ve used ever since. In part, he says, “I can’t claim to have known the man very well. I respect an artist’s need for privacy but was not in a hurry to go out socializing with him. I have no doubt his work in art, sculpture, engineering, if it’s not known already, will be an inspiration to all.” Giger died on Monday.

Bruce Springsteen wraps up his High Hopes tour this Saturday and Sunday in Uncasville, Connecticut. On Wednesday in Hershey, Pennsylvania he did the tour premiere of “Be True.”
