Ace Frehley will take part in the Carnegie Rocks exhibit in Turlock, California on May 24th. Night Ranger and George Lynch will also be on hand for the exhibit of instruments and memorabilia.

Gene Simmons says cameras were rolling inside his Beverly Hills, California home on Tuesday for both his L.A. KISS reality show and his wife and daughter’s show, Shannon & Sophie.

He had to stop the song, telling the audience, “We screwed the whole thing up right there!” He also did a cover of John Lee Hooker’s “Boom Boom.” Next up is Tampa on Thursday.

Paul McCartney recently said his favorite writer is Charles Dickens and his favorite poet is Dylan Thomas. Thomas is on the cover of The Beatles’ Sgt. Pepper’s Lonely Heart’s Club Band album.

Deep Purple singer Ian Gillan has been named Friend of the Armenians 2014 by the Eastern Diocese of the Armenian Church of America for his efforts in rebuilding the musical school in Armenia. He’ll receive the award Friday in New York.

Extreme and former Van Halen singer Gary Cherone and his band Hurtsmile will release their second album, Retrogranade, on June 2nd.
