Dave Davies says he is working on a new solo album and will be playing more shows in the U.S. and Europe in 2014.

Eric Clapton’s Journeyman album, which features George Harrison, Chaka Khan, Daryl Hall, Robert Cray, Phil Collins and others, will be released on Hybrid SACD next month. Clapton started a brief tour of the Southeast on Sunday with his first-ever performance at Jazz Fest in New Orleans.

Allman Brothers Band drummer Butch Trucks and bassist Oteil Burbridge are among those teaming up with Music Masters Camps to present the second annual Roots Rock Revival, August 18th to the 22nd at the Full Moon Resort in the Catskill Forest Preserve near Woodstock, New York.

Stevie Ray Vaughan and Double Trouble were inducted into the inaugural class of the Austin City Limits Hall of Fame on Saturday night. Also inducted was Willie Nelson, who was the first Austin City Limits performer in 1974 on what is now the longest-running television music program in the U.S.

Judas Priest has revealed what may be their new album cover on their website, JudasPriest.com. An announcement on the album is expected today (Monday).
