Gregg Allman has issued a statement on the death last week of a crew member killed during the filming of his biopic, Midnight Rider. He says, “I am so terribly saddened by the news of the tragedy that took the young life of Sarah Elizabeth Jones on the film set. My thoughts and prayers go out to her family, friends and colleagues during this time of mourning.”

Billy Joel has added a record-tying 12th show at Madison Square Garden this year, December 18th, as he does a one-show-a-month show there for however long there is demand.

The Scorpions will perform at the 2014 Formula One Gulf Air Bahrain Grand Prix on April. 5th.

Bob Dylan will follow up his tour of Japan in March and April with two shows in Hawaii — April 26th in Maui and the 29th in Honolulu. He has also announced a European tour for June and July.

Nazareth has a new singer. Linton Osborne has taken over for Dan McCafferty, who retired last year due to poor health. McCafferty has given his blessing to the hire.

Eric Clapton has announced his fourth and final U.S. date for the year — May 3rd in Atlanta. This will follow shows in New Orleans, Memphis and Pelham, Alabama. Clapton is currently on tour in Japan.

Tom Petty and the Heartbreakers’ keyboardist Benmont Tench will perform on ABC’s Jimmy Kimmel Live Tuesday night in support of his debut album, You Should Be So Lucky.
