Original Ten Years After bassist Leo Lyons has left the band along with singer Joe Gooch to concentrate on their side project, Hundred Seventy Split.

David Coverdale has recorded vocals for the debut album from Moon Kings, the band started by Adrian Vanderberg, his former guitarist in Whitesnake. Coverdale sings on “Sailing Ships.”

Ann Wilson will sing the national anthem at this Sunday’s NFC Championship Game between the San Francisco 49ers and Seattle Seahawks in her hometown of Seattle.

Foreigner will perform on the The Tonight Show With Jay Leno on Wednesday.

The four Lethal Weapon soundtracks composed by Eric Clapton, Michael Kamen and David Sanborn are now available in an eight-CD collection, which is limited to 3,000 copies. In addition to Clapton, the set includes appearances by Sting, Elton John, George Harrison and The Beach Boys.

ZZ Top’s Billy Gibbons will be the guest star on the year’s first new episode of Live From Daryl’s House. It debuts Wednesday on Daryl Hall’s website LFDH.com and February 6th on Palladia.
