Is that LEAD Zeppelin?!

Lead Zep Stub

Your eyes are not playing tricks on you!   The ticket stub for The Who show on May 25, 1969  spelled the opening act’s name incorrectly.  Led Zeppelin was the “warm up act” for The Who that night in Columbia,  Maryland and relatively unknown.   The soon to be superstars played long and The Who’s crew were forced to pull the plug on the band so The Who could play their entire set before curfew.   You are also reading the price correctly….&5.75 for The Who and Led Zeppelin!

It’s not quality but here’s actual audio from Zeppelin that night at Merriweather Post Pavilion.
