Queen guitarist Brian May can’t understand why anyone attends a concert if all they’re going to do is take photos with their phones.

He says, “If you go to a concert and you spend the whole time looking at your phone and trying to figure why it’s over exposing or something, you know, you miss the show… Whereas if you’re there and you just got your eyes and ears open, and you’re feeling it in your body, that’s the experience you want, really… You have to go there and you just have to be there and be in the moment and experience it, and that’s precious. There is nothing like that.”

Queen started the European leg of their tour with Adam Lambert last night (Tuesday) in Newcastle, England. Up next is Glasgow, Scotland tonight (Wednesday) followed by Saturday and Sunday at London’s O2 arena.
