Neil Young‘s Pono Music is looking for some more cash.

Young raised more than $6 million for his high-end digital music player back in April through Kickstarter. That campaign was funded mostly by pre-orders of the Pono player that’s due out in October. Now the company is working with the investment platform Crowdfunder, looking for accredited investors to purchase shares in the company for as little as $5,000. This campaign will use a “Special Purpose Fund” to “house all these smaller investors into a single entity which invests as one investor in Pono.” Pono Music has reached 85 percent of its funding goal of $2.5 million, with the closing date of September 1st.
