U2 will return to arenas for the first time in more than a decade on the Innocence and Experience Tour.

The North American leg starts May 14th in Vancouver and wraps up in July 23rd in New York, with two or four nights booked in the nine cities announced today. Tickets go on sale Monday. The European leg will run from September 4th through November 11th, with shows in their hometown of Dublin at the end of 2015.

Bono says, “We are going to try to have a completely different feeling from night one to night two, and have some fun playing with the idea of innocence and experience. More to be revealed!” The tour’s start six months from now gives him enough time to recover from the bicycle accident he had last month.
