Mötley Crüe will mark their 40th anniversary this weekend, and the rockers have a few ideas about how to celebrate.

“Tune in right here this Sunday…as Mötley Crüe will officially kick off our 40th Anniversary celebrations!!” reads a post on the band’s Facebook.

To take part in the festivities, you can sign a virtual birthday card or post a video message and tag the Crüe on Instagram.

Mötley Crüe formed on January 17, 1981, when Nikki Sixx and Tommy Lee first rehearsed together.

In 2020, Mötley Crüe had planned to embark on a reunion tour after previously vowing to never share the stage together again following a final show on New Year’s Eve 2015. However, the stadium run was postponed to this coming summer due to the COVID-19 pandemic.
