Could we see a new album from U2 by the end of the year?

The follow-up to 2009’s No Line on the Horizon was expected out in the spring but got delayed because the band reportedly wasn’t happy with all the tracks. Now, London’s Sun reports that the new album will “drop before the end of the year, most likely in November.” The paper adds that the band is aiming for a live comeback at London’s Roundhouse in September as part of this year’s iTunes Festival.
