In 1980, guitarist Brad Whitford left Aerosmith and teamed up with Derek St. Holmes — the voice of such early Ted Nugent songs as “Stranglehold” and “Dog Eat Dog” — on a project called Whitford/St. Holmes. Their only album, which was self-titled, came out in ’81, Three years later, Whitford rejoined Aerosmith and that was that…until now.

St. Holmes let the cat out of the bag to us at the NAMM Show over the weekend that nearly three-and-a-half decades later he and Whitford are working on a second album together.
